School Days!

My babylittle boy started school last week and it made me a little sad. He is growing so fast. It amazes me that 3 years ago he was just my baby and now he is telling me “I go to school, you come back later!” I couldn’t even get him to sit still long enough to get a decent picture so they were taken after school.

And he’s off!

Saying goodbye to daddy!

Now momma’s turn!

He has already found toys to play with!

The after school First Day Picture!

So lets hope that momma adjusts as well as Landen has! Its probably not going to happen but I can dream right!

Landen’s dragon

Sad! The waves washed it away!

He is a resilient little guy, he just moved up the beach and started again!

Ok so today was not “wordless” maybe I can do better next week….. probably not!

MilSpouse Fill In

So its that time again! Remember you can find these questions over at Wife Of A Sailor, if you want to join in on the fun!

1) The best thing my parents taught me to do when I was a child was _________________.
They taught me the value of family and the security that comes with that. It didn’t matter what problem I had gotten myself into I always knew that they would be there, they may not be happy about the situation, but they would be there to support me.
2) However, one thing I wish they did differently was _________________.
Maybe make me work a little harder for the things I was given. I worked but the money I made was just money in my pocket. I wish I would have had a little bit of a better understanding of saving for things.
3) One thing I’ve always wanted to try but haven’t is _________________.
I want to sky dive! Not where you are attached to someone else but where you are actually take some classes and get to jump by yourself! I just dont know if I will ever have the “balls” to actually go through with it.
4) One thing I never thought I’d try but I have is _________________.
Raw oysters…. and I never will AGAIN! End of story!
5) If I could give my 16-year-old self one piece of advice I’d tell myself _________________. Dont rush to grow up! Enjoy being 16…. it comes and goes TOO fast.

1) Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime
2) It is amazing what you can accomplish if just put your mind to it
3) If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen
4) What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to within our hearts
5) Well behaved women seldom make history. (thanks This American Wif and Every Branch for this last quote!).
