Wordless Wednesday

We enjoyed our Labor Day weekend by spending sometime in the sun.

I dont think I have ever been so excited about books!

They finally got here on Saturday! And we started our first book on Monday! Cant wait to post about our first with with Before Five In A Row!

First Week In Pictures

The kids had a wonderful first week of school! We did math and worked on handwriting. We also started All About Reading, Landen is enjoying all the activities and especially Ziggy!

This is the last week of the NBTS Blog Hop! And this week is all about SCHEDULES! This is not really something that we have followed very strictly in this house. With Landen doing school and Lexi…. well being an 17 month old and getting into WHATEVER she can we just do school whenever they are in the mood. However we do complete school everyday, even if it is in the evenings after Lexi has gone to bed. Here is the schedule we try to stick to because mornings tend to work better for us.

7:30-9:00 :Morning Routines

(Mommy gets breakfast ready, gets herself ready,

Landen gets ready for the day, Mommy gets Lexi ready, starts laundry, etc)

9:00-11:00 School (usually to 10:30 and then we get a snack)

11:00-12:00 Mommy does housework; kids play

12:00-1:00- Lunch

1:00-3:00 – Lexi Nap while Landen does some of his chores

then free play

3:00- 4:30 Outside time (as long as its not to hot or raining)

4:30- 6:00 Dinner Prep (Daddy comes home around 5:30)

6:00 Dinner

6:30- Daddy gives baths while Mommy cleans up dinner

7:00- Free play with Daddy!

8:00 bedtime

8:30- Mommy gets school work ready for next day

Works on BizzyBug projects

10:30 Evening Routine and bed

I am sure this schedule is going to change several times over this school year but right now this is what we are trying to stick with…. well of coarse we probably wont be sticking that close to it this week with Hurricane Isaac headed our way!
